Okay, I don't know about you guys, but I'm really REALLY hoping that groundhog does not see his shadow because I'm ready for spring!!! {I know, I know...that's not gonna happen! But I can dream right?!?} This week we have started making some Groundhog's Day predictions.
These lil cutie-patootie groundhogs do a great job of showing off the kiddos writing. This pattern & the writing sheet are both included in my "Groundhog's Day Fun" mini-unit {along with oodles of other activities.} Just click on the picture to check it out!
We have also started focusing a little more on time, so I decided to write a little book to reinforce this skill. My firsties just LOVE to make little books that they can keep! If you would like a copy of the student book, click the pic below to download you FREEBIE!

ReplyDeleteToo cute! Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately it does not look like we are going to get any winter here in Oklahoma this year - it's been 50+ most days this month! This will be the first time in 4 years that we actually get to celebrate Groundhog's Day in school - we had snow days all the other years! I am grabbing your unit to help me prepare for actually being in school on Feb 2nd!
