HeLLo SUMMER!

Oh, how I love summer time! No alarms (except the kids and the dog and the phone....) well, no alarm clocks anyway! Today was a super summer day here...90 degrees plus! So I decided to take my kiddos to the pool. It's so funny when students see a teacher outside of the school walls, they look at you really weird! You know what I'm talkin' about? It's like you shouldn't be allowed to leave school or something! Well, that's exactly what I experienced today. As soon as I walked into the pool, I heard..."WHAT are YOU doing here???" One little girl even asked me if I ever got to leave school??? Too stinkin' cute!

I am also spending time this summer working on some new products and FREEBIES. I'm super excited about them & will be posting them very soon!
Happy summer y'all!

Check out these Beach Day Cuties! {& a Freebie!}

Grab the sunscreen-let's head for the beach! These lil Beach Day Cuties are ready for some summertime fun! If you're looking for a fun little end-of-the-year activity...this is it! And don't tell your kiddos, but they will be using all of those writing skills {that you have worked soooo long and hard on all year long!} I really wish that I had a dollar for each time this year that I asked..."What does a "good sentence" need?"  Seriously folks, I would be able to afford a Carribean dream vacation!!! Has anyone else ever heard themselves repeating that question a bazillion times too??? {I bet you're laughing & shaking your head right now!} I know you all do the same thing!!! lol Oh well, that's why we have good ole summertime!
I just posted my Beach Day Cuties craftivity unit-click on the pic below to check it out.
Ahhhh....SUMMERTIME!!! I don't mean to keep saying that, but it just hasn't quite sunk in to my head yet that I do not have to get up & go to school tomorrow. And for all my blogging friends out there that are still in school....I'm thinkin' bout you guys and sending a little end-of-the-year/summertime freebie your way. Click the pic to download your copy! Hope your kiddos have fun!
...I think I might need to head on over to Pinterest for a bit-OH! I love that place!!! {Is it considered an addiction if you stay up half of the night browsing through pins?!?}

Ahhhh...Summertime is HERE!!! & a Giveaway

Oh the sweet smell of summertime...no schedules, no lesson plans, no alarm clocks {well, except for my little guys who seem to wake up earlier in the summer than they do during the school year!} Did you notice, I didn't say "no blogging"? I just can't seem to get enough of this blogging stuff-even if it is summertime! I've made so many wonderful friends through the blogging world that it would be impossible for me to take a summer break from that too! Much love to all my "bloggin' buddies"!!! And speaking of my Bloggin' Buds...a bunch of us have teamed up with the fabulous Katie King from Queen of the First Grade Jungle. She is hosting a SUPER HUGE GIVEAWAY with some Fab-U-Lous prizes.

I will be giving away my "Wild About School" jungle unit {perfect for back-to-school.} Be sure to head on over to Katie's blog to check out the other amazing prizes from Rachelle, Natalie, Michelle, Reagan, Jodi, Hadar & Jena! {Congrats Katie on reaching 1000 followers!}

Well I've been so eager for the summer and... now it's here and I just took a look at my "Summer To-Do" list...AUGH!!!!!!! It is sooooo stinkin' long! How did that happen??? Last year I decided to teach summer school & guess what? Yep, nothing was crossed off of my "2011 Summer To-Do List" so all of those things have been tacked onto my list for this summer! I'm pretty excited to say that we got started on a few of those projects around the house this weekend...and I'm starting to work on some of those unit requests that I've promised to finish up over the summer. I'm also hoping for a little vacation...still searching for the perfect spot though. Any ideas??? What kind of little vacation trips do you have planned for this summer?
